To provide supportive services and advocacy for adult and child victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, harassment and human trafficking. We also educate the community about these critical issues. A 24-hour telephone crisis line for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Legal advocacy, including information on how the criminal and civil court systems work. Safety planning, including step-by-step help obtaining a restraining order. Court accompaniment in some civil & criminal cases. Services for current or past victims of sexual assault (adults, teens and children, including survivors of childhood sexual abuse).Supportive services for family members affected by domestic or sexual abuse, including children. Individual counseling with an advocate by appointment (preferred) or on a walk-in basis (for emergencies). Weekly ongoing support groups for women, adolescents, and children recovering from the trauma of abuse. The youngest group is for kids age 5-10. Information about an optional Sexual Assault Exam (SANE exam) at a nearby hospital and accompaniment through the process. Services for current or past victims of domestic violence, whether the abuser was a spouse, partner, boyfriend / girlfriend, acquaintance or family member. Help with the legal paperwork to lift a "no contact" order after a domestic violence incident where police were called. Information and voluntary referral to other helpful community agencies based on each client's individual circumstances. Referral to emergency safe housing. Information about reporting an assault to police and optional accompaniment through the process. Services for children and adolescents who are current or past victims (or witnesses) of domestic violence or sexual assault. Advocacy and counseling for victims of elder abuse (60 years and older).
